No one to rely on? The stock market is here for you!

I have good news for you. You can learn to rely on yourself using the stock market.

It will take effort and persistence. Must likely you will not become wealthy over night.

However you can learn to rely on yourself using the stock market and if one out of five people are feeling less than happy because of the lack of someone to rely on, in my opinion, you should.

Two easy ways to get started:

  • Learn to build a dividend portfolio. It's fairly easy.
  • Learn to sell cash secured put options on stocks to add to your dividend portfolio. It takes a little more skill than simply buying a stock but it is easy to learn and develops skills to allow you to learn more complex option strategies.

There are a variety of stocks you can purchase that will give you annual to weekly dividends, with quarterly being the most common at the time of writing this.

However the monthly and weekly dividend choices continue to grow as new instruments have been coming the to the market.

Selling cash secured put options gives you the ability to buy stocks at a discount and get paid a premium to wait during the process.

Detractors will say something about the stock going down after you purchase it, which is basically the same risk as if you simply buy a stock.

Personally I have loved selling cash secured put options on stocks that I want to own, at prices that I would be happy to buy them at.

I get paid to regardless if I get the stock at my preferred price or not.

Pretty good deal.

There's lots of information about dividend stocks and selling cash secured put options online.

So much information that some is less useful than others.

I suggest learning everything you can for free on the two subjects so if you decide to purchase a course, you will be better able to tell the good courses from the garbage courses.
